More details, trials and checks.
Set up the satellite internet for the RV at work yesterday, trying to prove that things will work. Turns out that it is MUCH more sensitive to having trees in the way than expected. Third try was a charm, and was able to at least attach to the mail server. With practice, and knowing what to look for, it has GOT to be faster to hook up in the future...
I "think" all the mechanical mods that I intended to do are now done, a few more things to buy, and mostly packing at this point. Figuring out where all the "stuff" is going to live, what we can get away with not taking, etc.
Tonight as I work on the loading, I'm hoping to have Delilah take a bath in the little Tub to get her comfy with it, and further prove things out (water heater capacity, etc).
Bike rack ready to install - will actually have more lawn chairs than bikes on it initially. Some day, hope to find a tandem that Barbara and I can ride together, and tow that bike trailer with D in it. Also have her little bike from Yen, which she is very enthusiastic about.
T minus 48 hours until departure...
